Irresistible Nutella Bread Bombs – A Gooey Chocolate Delight!

In a small bowl, combine the warm milk, sugar, and active dry yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy. This activates the yeast.
Step 2: Make the Dough

In a large bowl, combine the yeast mixture, melted butter, salt, and egg.
Gradually add the flour, stirring until the dough starts to come together.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour as needed.
Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover it with a clean kitchen towel. Allow it to rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
Step 3: Prepare the Nutella Filling

While the dough is rising, prepare your Nutella filling by simply having the spread ready to use.
Step 4: Shape the Bread Bombs

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and turn it out onto a floured surface.
Roll the dough into a large rectangle, about 1/4 inch thick.
Spread a thin layer of Nutella evenly over the surface of the dough.
Cut the dough into small squares (about 2×2 inches each).
Take each square and fold the corners toward the center, forming a pocket, and pinch the edges to seal the Nutella inside. Shape them into balls and place them seam-side down in a greased baking dish, ensuring they are slightly touching.
Step 5: Bake the Bread Bombs

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
Brush the tops of the dough bombs with melted butter.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and puffed. The Nutella inside will be gooey and melty.
Step 6: Serve and Enjoy

Once baked, allow the Nutella bread bombs to cool slightly. Dust with powdered sugar for a finishing touch (optional).
Serve warm and enjoy the gooey, chocolatey goodness!
