Cream-Filled Italian Donuts – Irresistibly Light & Fluffy

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, whisk milk, melted butter, egg, and vanilla extract until combined.
Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
2. Fry the Donuts:
Heat vegetable oil in a deep pan over medium heat to 350°F (175°C).
Using a spoon or small scoop, drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil.
Fry for about 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown.
Remove and drain on paper towels.
3. Fill the Donuts:
Allow the donuts to cool slightly.
Using a piping bag, fill each donut with whipped cream by inserting the tip into the side.
4. Dust & Serve:
Lightly dust with powdered sugar for a classic finish.
Serve warm and enjoy!
