Indulgent Caramelized Banana Cream Dessert

Slice the bananas into rounds.

Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the butter.

Once the butter has melted, add the banana slices and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and caramelized. Set aside.

Prepare the Custard Cream:

In a small bowl, mix the cornstarch with the 100 ml of milk to form a smooth slurry.

In a saucepan, heat the 150 ml of milk over medium heat.

Once the milk is warm, gradually whisk in the cornstarch mixture and continue whisking until it thickens to a custard-like consistency (about 3-5 minutes).

Once thickened, remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly.

Assemble the Dessert:

In serving glasses or bowls, layer the caramelized bananas at the bottom.

Pour the custard cream over the bananas, and let it set for a few minutes to meld the flavors together.

Serve:

Chill the dessert in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes before serving for a cooler, firmer texture.

Garnish with additional caramelized bananas, whipped cream, or a sprinkle of cinnamon if desired.
