What You’ll Need:
Baking soda

Distilled white vinegar

A clean microfiber cloth or old towel

Cotton swabs

Toothpick or wooden skewer

Distilled water

Old pillowcase or dish towel

Iron-safe bowl or cup

Step-by-Step Cleaning Guide
1. Unplug and Cool Down
Make sure the iron is unplugged and completely cool before starting any cleaning.

2. Clean the Soleplate (Bottom of the Iron)
Make a paste with:

2 tablespoons baking soda

A few drops of water

Rub the paste gently over the iron’s soleplate using a microfiber cloth. This removes scorched fabric, gunk, or built-up starch. Avoid abrasive pads—they can scratch the surface.
