3. Clean the Water Tank (Inside)
Descale with vinegar and water:
Fill the reservoir with equal parts distilled white vinegar and distilled water.
Turn the iron on, set it to the steam setting, and let it heat up.
Allow it to steam for about 5–10 minutes over an old towel or sink, pressing the steam button occasionally to flush out minerals.
Let it cool. Empty the tank, then rinse by filling it with distilled water and repeating the steam process.
4. Exterior Cleaning
Use a cloth dampened with vinegar or mild soap and water to wipe the outside of the iron. Pay attention to the handle and buttons.
5. Final Polish and Test
Dry with a soft cloth.
Plug in the iron, let it heat, and run it over an old towel or pillowcase to ensure any leftover residue is gone.
