In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, ginger, salt, and pepper to create the honey garlic sauce. Set aside.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet or pan over medium heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove the sausage from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan, add the broccoli florets and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they begin to soften but remain crisp-tender.
Push the broccoli to the side of the pan and add the shrimp. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.
Add the cooked sausage back to the pan and pour the honey garlic sauce over everything. Toss to coat the shrimp, sausage, and broccoli evenly with the sauce.
If you want a little extra caramelization, let the mixture cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Garnish with red pepper flakes (if using) and serve hot.
