Homemade Cheese Filled Bread with Sesame Seeds

In a small bowl, dissolve sugar and yeast in warm water. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough begins to form.

Knead the dough for 8-10 minutes on a floured surface until it becomes smooth and elastic. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more flour.

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean towel, and let it rise for 1-1.5 hours, or until it doubles in size.

Prepare the Cheese Filling:

In a separate bowl, mix the cheese(s) with cream cheese, if using, and season with salt, pepper, and dried herbs. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and well combined.

Assemble the Bread:
