Mix a few tablespoons of baking soda with a small amount of water to create a thick paste.
The paste should be spreadable but not too runny.
Apply the Paste:
Spread the baking soda paste generously over the burnt areas of the pan. If your pan has multiple stubborn spots, make sure to cover them well.
Let the paste sit for 15-20 minutes so it can break down the burnt residue.
Scrub the Pan:
Use a scrub brush or sponge to gently scrub the burnt spots. The abrasiveness of the baking soda will help lift the burnt stains without damaging the surface of the pan.
For extra scrubbing power, you can make a crumpled ball of aluminum foil and use it to scrub the pan. This works especially well for stainless steel pans.
