Here are some great food storage tips to keep your produce fresh for longer:

Store in the crisper drawer of the fridge away from other produce to prevent them from making other fruits ripen too quickly.
Wrap apples individually in paper if storing for a long time.
Leafy Greens (Lettuce, Spinach, Kale, etc.) 🥬
Wash, dry thoroughly, and store in a sealed container lined with paper towels to absorb excess moisture.
If greens start wilting, soak them in ice water for 5-10 minutes to crisp them up.
Carrots & Celery 🥕
Store carrots and celery in water in a jar in the fridge to keep them crisp. Change the water every few days.
Alternatively, wrap them in foil instead of plastic to prevent them from getting rubbery.
Tomatoes 🍅
Store on the counter (not in the fridge!) to maintain flavor and texture.
If they are overripe, put them in the fridge but let them come to room temperature before eating for the best taste.
Onions & Garlic 🧅🧄
