Here are some great food storage tips to keep your produce fresh for longer:

Keep in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place (not the fridge). A mesh bag or basket works great.
Avoid storing onions and potatoes together – onions release moisture and gas that can make potatoes spoil faster.
Potatoes & Sweet Potatoes 🥔
Store in a dark, cool place (like a pantry or basement), away from direct sunlight.
Place an apple in the bag to keep them from sprouting too quickly.
Avocados 🥑
Keep unripe avocados on the counter until they soften.
Once ripe, move to the fridge to slow down further ripening.
If only using half, store with the pit in an airtight container with a bit of lemon or onion to prevent browning.
