Heavenly Butter Biscuits and Melting Moments

In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and creamy. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.

Add the Dry Ingredients:
Sift the flour, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt into the bowl. Mix until a soft, smooth dough forms.

Shape the Biscuits:
Roll the dough into small balls (about a tablespoon each). Place them on a parchment-lined baking tray. Flatten each ball gently with a fork, creating a pattern.

Bake:
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and bake for 12-15 minutes until the edges are just lightly golden. Be careful not to overbake.

Cool:
Let the biscuits cool on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely.

For the Filling (Melting Moments):
Make the Cream Filling:
In a small bowl, beat the softened butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until creamy. If desired, add milk or lemon juice for extra flavor and consistency.

Assemble the Melting Moments:
Take one cooled biscuit, spread or pipe a teaspoon of filling onto the flat side, and sandwich with another biscuit.
