Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
Grease a round cake pan or a deep dish with olive oil.
Arrange a layer of sautéed potatoes at the bottom of the pan, slightly overlapping them. Add a layer of the cooked meat and vegetable mixture on top. Repeat the layers, finishing with a final layer of potatoes on top.
Add the Eggs and Cheese:
In a bowl, beat the eggs and pour them evenly over the top of the layered cake. Sprinkle the grated cheese and breadcrumbs (if using) on top for extra flavor and texture.
Bake:
Place the cake in the oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden and crispy. If needed, you can cover the cake with foil for the first 20 minutes to prevent the potatoes from burning, then uncover to allow the top to brown.
Serve:
Let the cake cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. It’s perfect on its own or served with a side salad or dipping sauce.
