Hawaiian Roll French Toast

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, whole milk, heavy cream, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt.
Step 2: Slice the Rolls
Cut the Hawaiian rolls into halves or quarters, depending on your preference for the size of your French toast slices.
Step 3: Soak the Rolls
Dip each roll piece into the egg mixture, making sure both sides are fully coated. Let them soak for about 10 seconds per side, allowing the rolls to absorb the mixture.
Step 4: Cook the French Toast
In a large skillet or griddle, heat the unsalted butter over medium heat.
Place the soaked rolls onto the skillet, cooking in batches if needed. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
Repeat with the remaining roll pieces, adding more butter to the skillet as necessary.
Step 5: Serve
Transfer the cooked French toast to a plate.
Top with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, powdered sugar, fresh fruit, or whipped cream.
