Ham & Cheese Puff Pastry Squares

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
Prepare the Puff Pastry:

Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface. Cut it into squares (about 4×4 inches). You’ll need two squares per pastry square.
Assemble the Pastries:

On one square, layer a slice of deli ham and top with shredded mozzarella cheese. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
Place the second square of pastry on top and press the edges to seal, making sure the filling stays inside.
Egg Wash & Garnish:

Beat the egg and brush it over the top of each pastry square for a golden, shiny finish.
Optionally, sprinkle sesame seeds on top for a crunchy touch.
Bake:

Place the assembled pastries on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed up.
Serve:

Let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy the crispy, cheesy goodness!
