Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Roll out the Puff Pastry:
Unroll the puff pastry sheet on a clean surface.
If it’s too large, trim it to fit your baking sheet.
3. Assemble the Rolls:
Spread Dijon mustard (if using) evenly across the pastry.
Layer the sliced ham on top of the pastry, covering most of the surface.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the ham, then season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
4. Roll & Cut:
Carefully roll the puff pastry sheet into a tight log, starting from one edge.
Slice the rolled pastry into 1-inch pieces.
5. Brush with Egg Wash:
Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of each roll for a golden, glossy finish.
6. Bake:
Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them slightly apart.
Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and puffed up.
7. Garnish & Serve:
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Garnish with fresh parsley, if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!
