Ham and Cheese Breakfast Croissant A Deliciously Buttery Breakfast Sandwich with Ham, Cheese, and a Fried Egg

Begin by heating a frying pan over medium heat. Add 1 tablespoon of butter to the pan.
Once the butter is melted and sizzling, crack an egg into the pan. Cook it to your desired doneness (sunny-side up or over easy works best).
While the egg is frying, slice the croissant in half and warm it in the oven or toaster oven until lightly toasted.
On the bottom half of the croissant, layer 2 slices of deli ham and a slice of Swiss cheese.
Once the egg is cooked, carefully place it on top of the cheese and ham.
Place the top half of the croissant over the sandwich to close it.
Optionally, garnish with sliced green onions or fresh herbs for added flavor and color.
Serve immediately and enjoy!
