Ground Beef and Gravy Over Mashed Potatoes

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the cubed potatoes and cook for 15-20 minutes, or until tender when pierced with a fork.
Drain the potatoes and return them to the pot. Add the milk, butter, and salt, then mash until smooth and creamy. Set aside and keep warm.
Make the Ground Beef Gravy:

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks, until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, cooking until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
Sprinkle the flour over the beef mixture and stir to coat. Cook for 1 minute to eliminate the raw flour taste.
Gradually pour in the beef broth, stirring constantly. Stir in the Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes, or until the gravy thickens.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Assemble and Serve:

Spoon the creamy mashed potatoes onto plates. Top with the savory ground beef gravy and serve immediately.
