Grilled Garlic Herb Shrimp – A Flavorful and Easy Seafood Dish

In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, fresh parsley, and dried oregano. Stir well to create the marinade.

Marinate the Shrimp:
Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the bowl and toss to coat them evenly in the marinade. Let the shrimp marinate for at least 15-20 minutes, or up to 1 hour if you have more time. This allows the flavors to infuse the shrimp.

Preheat the Grill:
While the shrimp is marinating, preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using skewers, thread the shrimp onto them, leaving a little space between each shrimp.

Grill the Shrimp:
Place the shrimp on the grill and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until the shrimp are opaque and slightly charred. Be sure not to overcook the shrimp, as they can become tough.

Serve:
Once grilled, remove the shrimp from the heat and garnish with extra chopped parsley for a fresh touch. Serve immediately with your favorite sides or as a standalone appetizer.
