Greek Chicken Gyros with Tzatziki Sauce – A Fresh and Flavorful Delight

In a medium bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper.
Add the thinly sliced chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated evenly.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for the best flavor).
Step 2: Prepare the Tzatziki Sauce
In a small bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated and drained cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, and chopped dill.
Season with salt and pepper, then refrigerate until ready to serve.
Step 3: Cook the Chicken
Heat a large skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
Add the marinated chicken and cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until golden brown and fully cooked.
Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, then slice into strips.

Warm the pita bread by placing it in a dry skillet or wrapping it in foil and heating it in the oven.

Drizzle or spoon the tzatziki sauce over the filling.
Fold the pita to create a wrap and serve immediately while warm.
