Grandma’s Italian Yogurt Cake 🇮🇹🍰


Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan, or line it with parchment paper.

Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the yogurt, milk, and oil, and mix well until smooth.

Add Dry Ingredients: Slowly sift in the flour (around 2 cups) and baking powder (1 tsp) into the wet mixture, mixing until combined. You should have a smooth batter.

Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and bake for about 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool: Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

Serve: Once the cake has cooled, dust with powdered sugar if desired and serve with tea or coffee for a truly Italian-inspired treat.
