Garlic Parmesan Tortellini with Chicken and Broccoli

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the tortellini according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
2. Cook the Chicken:
In a large skillet, heat 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken pieces and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is browned and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
3. Sauté the Garlic:
In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tbsp olive oil. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Make the Creamy Sauce:
To the skillet, add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning (if using). Continue to cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the sauce has thickened.
5. Combine Everything:
Add the chicken back into the skillet and stir to coat with the sauce. Then, add the cooked tortellini and broccoli florets. Toss everything together until the tortellini is coated with the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce and everything is heated through.
6. Serve and Garnish:
Serve the dish in bowls, garnished with chopped parsley for a burst of freshness.
