Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 5: Combine Sausage and Pasta
Return the cooked sausage to the skillet, then add the cooked pasta. Toss everything together, making sure the pasta is well coated in the creamy sauce. If the sauce becomes too thick, stir in a little of the reserved pasta water to reach the desired consistency.
Step 6: Garnish and Serve
Garnish the dish with freshly chopped parsley and serve immediately.
