Garlic Butter Roasted Cabbage Steaks with Parmesan & Crispy Turkey Bacon

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Prepare the Cabbage:

Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage. Cut the cabbage into 1-inch thick slices, creating cabbage “steaks.” You should get about 4-6 cabbage steaks from one head.
Make the Garlic Butter:

In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika (if using). Stir well.
Roast the Cabbage Steaks:

Place the cabbage steaks on the prepared baking sheet. Brush both sides generously with the garlic butter mixture.
Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the edges are golden brown and the cabbage is tender.
Add Parmesan and Turkey Bacon:

Once the cabbage is roasted, remove it from the oven and sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top of each steak.
Return to the oven and roast for an additional 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
In the last few minutes, sprinkle the crumbled crispy turkey bacon on top to warm through.
Serve:

Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve warm as a side dish or a main vegetarian option.
