1. Prepare the Potatoes
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
Wash and scrub the potatoes clean. Pat dry with a towel.
Using a sharp knife, cut slits into the potatoes about ¾ of the way down, being careful not to slice all the way through.
2. Make the Garlic Butter
In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, olive oil, and dried dill.
Brush or drizzle the mixture over the potatoes, making sure it seeps into the slits.
Sprinkle salt evenly over the top.
3. Bake the Potatoes
Place the potatoes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake for 45-60 minutes, or until the potatoes are crispy on the outside and tender inside.
Halfway through baking, baste the potatoes with any remaining garlic butter for extra flavor.
