Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with cooking spray.
Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface into a large rectangle, about 12 x 10 inches in size.
Step 2: Assemble the Filling
In a medium-sized skillet, heat a little olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms, and sauté for about 4-5 minutes until softened. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried oregano.
In a separate pan, cook the Italian sausage, crumbling it as it cooks until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Arrange the cooked sausage, sautéed vegetables, pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese evenly along the center of the dough.
Step 3: Roll and Seal
Carefully roll the dough over the filling, starting from one long edge, and roll tightly to form a log-like shape. Pinch the ends and seams to seal the bread.
Place the filled roll seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Step 4: Bake
Brush the top of the roll with olive oil to ensure a golden, crispy crust.
Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese inside is melted and bubbly.
Step 5: Serve
Allow the Garbage Bread to cool for a few minutes before slicing it into 1-inch thick rolls.
Serve with marinara sauce on the side for dipping (optional).
