In a bowl, whisk together the egg, sugar, and vanilla sugar until light and slightly frothy. Add oil, yogurt, and milk. Mix until smooth.
Add Dry Ingredients:
Stir in the flour and baking powder. Mix just until combined — the batter will be thick but pourable.
Cook on Stovetop:
Lightly oil or butter a non-stick skillet and heat over low to medium-low heat.
Pour in the batter and spread evenly like a thick pancake (about 1 to 1½ inches thick).
Cover with a lid and cook for about 4–5 minutes, until the top looks set and the bottom is golden.
Carefully flip (you can cut it in half to flip if needed) and cook the other side for another 2–3 minutes.
Serve:
Let it cool slightly. Slice and serve warm or room temp. Dust with powdered sugar, drizzle honey or chocolate sauce, or top with fruit or jam.
