Florida Shrimp Pie

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

2️⃣ Stir Up the Vegetables:
In a frying pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and green pepper, cooking until tender, about 5 minutes. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute until fragrant.

3️⃣ Cook the Shrimp:
Add the shrimp to the pan and cook for about 3 minutes, until pink. Remove from heat and set aside to cool slightly.

4️⃣ Prepare the Filling:
In a large bowl, whisk together heavy cream, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir in the cooked shrimp and vegetables, followed by the shredded cheddar cheese.

5️⃣ Assemble the Pie:
Pour the shrimp mixture into the pre-made pie crust, distributing it evenly.

6️⃣ Bake the Pie:
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is slightly golden.

7️⃣ Chill and Serve:
Allow the pie to cool for about 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley before serving.
