Add the flaxseeds to a pot with water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
Simmer and Thicken:
Reduce heat and let simmer for 10–15 minutes until the mixture slightly thickens to a gel-like consistency.
Strain the Tea:
Strain the liquid through a fine sieve or cheesecloth into a cup. You may also choose to leave the seeds in for extra fiber.
Flavor It (Optional):
Stir in lemon juice, honey, cinnamon, or ginger for added taste and benefits.
