In a bowl, combine the hot water, vegetable oil, ghee, salt, and sugar. Stir until the salt and sugar dissolve completely.
Add the cornstarch and flour to the bowl and mix until the dough begins to form. You might need to adjust the flour slightly, adding a bit more if the dough feels too sticky.
Knead the dough for a few minutes until it’s smooth and soft.
Roll out the dough on a lightly floured surface to about 1/8 inch thickness.
Cut the dough into desired shapes (squares, rectangles, or rounds).
Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Place the shaped crackers into the skillet, cooking them for about 2 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy.
Once the crackers are done, transfer them to a plate and sprinkle sesame seeds on top while still warm. Let them cool slightly before serving.
