Feta Pasta Hit: A Creamy and Delicious 30-Minute Pasta Treat


Prepare the Oven and Ingredients:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

Place the block of feta cheese in the center of a baking dish.

Surround the feta with the cherry tomatoes, drizzle everything with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic, oregano, basil, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

Bake the Feta and Tomatoes:

Bake the feta and tomatoes in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the feta is soft and slightly golden, and the tomatoes are bursting and tender.

Cook the Pasta:

While the feta and tomatoes are baking, bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Reserve about 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining the pasta.

Mix the Pasta with the Baked Feta:

Once the feta and tomatoes are done baking, remove them from the oven. Using a spoon or fork, gently mash the feta and tomatoes together, creating a creamy sauce.

Add the cooked pasta to the baking dish and toss everything together, adding reserved pasta water a little at a time to achieve your desired consistency.

Serve:

Garnish the pasta with fresh basil or parsley, if desired, and serve immediately. Enjoy the creamy, garlicky, and perfectly spiced pasta!
