Experience the Delight of Butter-Basted Lobster Tail with Seared Scallops: A Decadent Seafood Feast

Prepare the Lobster Tails: Using kitchen shears, carefully cut down the top of the lobster shells, lengthwise, and gently pull the meat up, leaving it attached at the base. Remove any bits of shell and set the lobster aside.
Make the Butter Sauce: In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and fresh thyme, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice and season with salt and pepper to taste. Keep warm.
Cook the Lobster Tails: Heat a grill pan or oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Place the lobster tails, shell-side down, and cook for 4-5 minutes. Flip the lobster tails and baste with the melted butter mixture. Continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes until the lobster meat is opaque and fully cooked.
Sear the Scallops: While the lobster is cooking, heat olive oil in a separate large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the scallops with salt and pepper, then place them in the pan. Sear the scallops for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
Serve: Plate the lobster tails with the seared scallops. Drizzle the butter sauce over the top and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
Enjoy: Serve this indulgent seafood dish immediately, and enjoy the perfect balance of flavors and textures.
