Easy Homemade Nougat: Better Than Store-Bought!

Clean and pat dry the whole fish. Make shallow diagonal cuts on both sides of the fish for better seasoning absorption.

Make the Marinade:
In a bowl, mix olive oil, paprika, chili flakes, garlic powder, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.

Marinate the Fish:
Rub the marinade generously over the fish, ensuring it seeps into the cuts. Let the fish marinate for 20–30 minutes for maximum flavor.

Grill the Fish:
Preheat the grill or a grill pan. Grill the fish for 4–5 minutes per side, or until the skin is crispy and the flesh is tender.

Prepare the Garnish:
Sauté cherry tomatoes, thinly sliced onions, and a pinch of chili flakes in olive oil until the tomatoes soften and the onions are lightly caramelized.

Serve:
Place the grilled fish on a platter and spoon the sautéed mixture over it. Garnish with fresh cilantro or parsley.
