In a small bowl, add warm water (make sure it’s not too hot). Stir in the yeast and salt. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until the mixture becomes frothy and bubbly.
2️⃣ Mix the Dough:
In a large mixing bowl, add the flour. Gradually pour the yeast mixture into the flour while stirring with a spoon or your hands. Mix until the dough starts to come together.
3️⃣ Knead the Dough:
Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead for about 8-10 minutes until the dough is smooth and elastic. If the dough is sticky, add a little more flour as needed.
4️⃣ Let the Dough Rise:
Shape the dough into a ball and place it in a lightly oiled bowl. Cover with a clean cloth or plastic wrap and let it rise for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
5️⃣ Shape and Bake the Bread:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). After the dough has risen, punch it down to remove any air bubbles, and then shape it into a loaf or roll it into smaller pieces for rolls.
Place the dough on a greased baking pan or lined with parchment paper. Let it rise for another 20-30 minutes.
6️⃣ Bake:
Bake the bread in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the bread sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
7️⃣ Cool and Serve:
Let the bread cool on a wire rack before slicing.
