Prepare the Burger Patties:
In a bowl, mix the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties.
Optional: Brown the patties in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes per side to enhance flavor and retain shape.
Layer in the Crockpot:
Spread a small amount of pizza sauce on the bottom of the crockpot.
Place the burger patties in a single layer. If stacking is necessary, separate layers with a small piece of parchment paper.
Pour the remaining pizza sauce over the patties, ensuring they are fully coated.
Cook:
Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
About 30 minutes before serving, sprinkle the mozzarella, Parmesan, and optional diced pepperoni or sausage over the patties. Cover and continue cooking until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
Assemble and Serve:
Toast the burger buns for extra flavor.
Place each pizza burger on a bun and top with extra sauce, melted cheese, and favorite toppings like olives or bell peppers. Serve immediately.
