Assemble the Sandwiches:
Place a slice of cheese on each slice of bread.
Add a slice of ham between two pieces of bread with cheese, making a sandwich.
Prepare the Egg Mixture:
In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
Dip the Sandwiches:
Heat a little cooking oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Dip each sandwich into the egg mixture, coating both sides.
Fry the Sandwiches:
Fry the sandwiches in the hot oil for about 3-4 minutes per side or until golden brown and crispy. Be sure the cheese has melted inside.
Serve:
Remove the sandwiches from the pan and place them on paper towels to drain any excess oil.
Slice them into halves or quarters and serve hot!
