Custard Cake: Easy, Fluffy, and Irresistible (No Butter)

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a round cake pan or line it with parchment paper to prevent sticking.

Mix Wet Ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk together the egg, sugar, oil, yogurt, and milk until smooth and well combined.

Add Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, sift the flour, vanilla sugar, and baking powder. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring gently until the batter is smooth and lump-free.

Pour and Bake:
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan, spreading it evenly. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cool and Serve:
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a few minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely. Slice and serve as is, or dust with powdered sugar for an extra touch.
