Crustless Quiche with Bacon and Mushrooms: A Flavorful Combination

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish with cooking spray or a little butter.

Sauté the Mushrooms:
In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced mushrooms and sauté for about 5 minutes, or until they are tender and any moisture has evaporated. Set aside.

Whisk the Eggs and Cream:
In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and heavy cream together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Combine Ingredients:
Stir in the crumbled bacon, sautéed mushrooms, and shredded Swiss cheese into the egg mixture. Mix until well combined.

Bake the Quiche:
Pour the mixture into the prepared pie dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the quiche is set in the center and lightly golden on top. You can check the doneness by inserting a knife into the center—the quiche should come out clean.

Cool and Serve:
Let the quiche cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm or at room temperature for the best texture and flavor.
