Crispy Herb Tofu Slices with Garlic-Lemon Drizzle

Press the tofu to remove excess moisture and cut it into slices. This will help the tofu crisp up nicely.

In a shallow dish, combine breadcrumbs, dried thyme, dried parsley, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Coat the Tofu:

Dip each tofu slice into the breadcrumb mixture, ensuring that all sides are coated well. Press the breadcrumbs onto the tofu for a thicker crust.

Cook the Tofu:

Heat a little oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the tofu slices and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden and crispy. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Make the Garlic-Lemon Drizzle:

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Add honey or maple syrup if you’d like a touch of sweetness.

Serve:

Arrange the crispy tofu slices on a serving plate and drizzle the garlic-lemon sauce over the top. Garnish with additional herbs or lemon zest if desired.
