Crispy Crab Appetizer – A Flavorful Bite-Sized Delight

In a large bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, and parsley.
Tear the bread into small pieces and add it to the bowl with the crab mixture. Stir everything gently to combine, making sure the bread is soaked but not mushy.
Beat the egg and add it to the mixture to bind the ingredients together. Mix until it’s well combined but still has some texture.
Step 2: Form the Crab Bites
Using your hands, take small portions of the crab mixture and form them into bite-sized patties or balls (about 1-2 inches in diameter). Be gentle to keep the crab’s texture intact.
Step 3: Cook the Crab Bites
Heat a small amount of oil (vegetable or canola) in a frying pan over medium heat.
Once the oil is hot, add the crab bites to the pan, cooking them in batches if needed.
Fry the crab bites for 2-3 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
Step 4: Drain and Serve
Remove the crab bites from the pan and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain any excess oil.
Serve immediately with your favorite dipping sauce (such as tartar sauce or cocktail sauce).
