Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving about 1/2 cup of pasta water for later. Set the pasta aside.
Cook the Salmon and Shrimp:
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the salmon pieces and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the salmon from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside with the salmon.
Make the Alfredo Sauce:
In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic, cooking for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a simmer. Allow it to cook for 2-3 minutes to thicken slightly.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, chicken or vegetable broth, and reserved pasta water. Stir continuously until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Combine the Pasta, Seafood, and Sauce:
Add the cooked fettuccine pasta to the sauce and toss gently to coat the pasta in the creamy Alfredo sauce.
Gently fold in the cooked salmon and shrimp, being careful not to break the fish into smaller pieces.
Serve:
Plate the creamy seafood pasta and garnish with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice if desired. Serve hot, with extra Parmesan on the side if preferred.
