Creamy Peanut Butter Fudge: A Sweet and Smooth Treat

In a medium saucepan, melt the peanut butter and unsalted butter together over low heat, stirring occasionally until smooth and fully combined.
Once melted, remove the saucepan from the heat and stir in the vanilla extract and salt (if using).
Incorporate the Powdered Sugar:

Gradually add the powdered sugar to the peanut butter mixture, stirring until the mixture is smooth and fully combined. The mixture will become thick but should be creamy.
Set the Fudge:

Line an 8×8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Pour the peanut butter mixture into the dish, smoothing the top with a spatula to create an even layer.
Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge is firm and set.
Cut and Serve:

Once the fudge has fully set, remove it from the baking dish using the parchment paper and cut it into small squares. Serve immediately or store for later.
