Creamy Lemon Garlic Chicken: A Zesty and Velvety Delight

Season the chicken: Sprinkle the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Cook the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Make the sauce: In the same pan, melt butter and sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
Deglaze and simmer: Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to release the flavorful bits. Let it simmer for 2 minutes.
Add cream and seasonings: Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, lemon zest, Italian seasoning, and optional red pepper flakes. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
Finish the dish: Return the chicken to the pan and spoon the sauce over it. Let it simmer for another 2 minutes.
Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve warm.
