Generously season both sides of the steaks with salt and black pepper.
Lightly season the shrimp with salt and pepper as well.
Cook the Steaks:
Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Once hot, add the steaks and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare or until your desired doneness is reached.
Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest on a plate, loosely covered with foil.
Cook the Shrimp:
In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp olive oil.
Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are fully cooked.
Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
Prepare the Creamy Lemon Garlic Butter Sauce:
In the same skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, and lemon zest, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
Add Finishing Touches:
Mix in the grated Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning, stirring continuously until the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened (about 3-4 minutes).
Season with additional salt and pepper to taste.
Combine and Serve:
Slice the rested steaks and return them to the skillet along with the cooked shrimp.
Spoon the creamy lemon garlic butter sauce over the top.
Garnish with chopped fresh parsley and lemon slices for a fresh, inviting finish.
