Creamy Kielbasa Hashbrown Casserole: A Hearty Comfort Dish

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter.

Prepare the Kielbasa and Onion: In a large skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat. Add the sliced kielbasa and chopped onion, cooking for about 5-7 minutes until the kielbasa is browned and the onions are softened. Set aside.

Mix the Casserole Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the thawed hashbrowns, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir in the cooked kielbasa and onion mixture.

Transfer to Baking Dish: Pour the casserole mixture into the prepared baking dish. Use a spatula to spread it evenly across the dish.

Top with Butter: Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the casserole to help it get golden and crispy during baking.

Bake the Casserole: Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 45-55 minutes, or until it is bubbling and golden brown on top. If the top is browning too quickly, you can cover the dish with foil and continue baking until fully heated through.

Serve: Once done, remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley for a touch of color and flavor.
