Creamy Cajun Chicken Pasta: A Spicy and Satisfying Dish

Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2. Season and Cook the Chicken
In a small bowl, mix Cajun seasoning, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
Coat both sides of the chicken breasts with the seasoning mixture.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the chicken for 6-7 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).
Remove from the skillet and let it rest before slicing.
3. Sauté the Vegetables
In the same skillet, add sliced red bell pepper and cook for 3 minutes until slightly softened.
Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
4. Make the Creamy Cajun Sauce
Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits from the pan. Let it simmer for 1 minute.
Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
Let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes until it thickens slightly.
5. Combine Everything
Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet, coating it in the sauce.
Add the drained pasta and toss until everything is well coated in the creamy sauce.
6. Serve and Enjoy
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
