Cream Puff Dessert

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it to prevent the puffs from sticking.

Prepare the Dough:
In a medium saucepan, combine water and butter over medium heat. Stir occasionally until the butter is completely melted and the mixture comes to a boil.

Add the Flour:
Once the mixture is boiling, reduce the heat to low and quickly stir in the flour. Continue stirring until the mixture forms a ball and pulls away from the sides of the pan, about 1-2 minutes.

Add Eggs:
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Add the eggs one at a time, stirring vigorously after each addition. The dough will appear slightly lumpy at first but will smooth out as you continue mixing.

Shape the Puffs:
Using a spoon or a piping bag, scoop or pipe the dough into small rounds (about 1-2 inches in diameter) onto the prepared baking sheet. Space them about 2 inches apart to allow for spreading.

Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the puffs are golden brown and have puffed up. Do not open the oven door during baking, as this may cause the puffs to deflate.

Cool:
Once baked, remove from the oven and allow the cream puffs to cool completely on a wire rack.
