Cranberry Jello Salad with Cream Cheese – A Sweet, Tangy Delight

In a mixing bowl, dissolve the cranberry Jello in 1 cup of boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved.
Add 1 cup of cold water to the Jello mixture and stir.
Mix in the whole cranberry sauce until combined. If using nuts, fold them into the Jello mixture.
Pour the Jello mixture into a 9×13-inch baking dish or serving dish. Refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours or until the Jello is set and firm.
Step 2: Prepare the Cream Cheese Layer
In a separate mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
Add the cool whip (or whipped cream), powdered sugar, and vanilla extract to the cream cheese and continue to beat until fully combined. The mixture should be fluffy and smooth.
Step 3: Assemble the Salad
Once the Jello layer has set, spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the top of the Jello layer, smoothing it out with a spatula.
Return the salad to the refrigerator and let it chill for another 1-2 hours to allow the layers to firm up and meld together.
Step 4: Serve
Once chilled and set, cut the cranberry Jello salad into squares or serve in individual portions. Garnish with additional chopped nuts if desired.
