Add the drained corn and ranch-style beans to the beef mixture. Stir well, then spread the mixture evenly in the prepared casserole dish.
Prepare the cornbread mix according to the package instructions, and pour it over the beef mixture in the casserole dish, spreading it evenly on top.
Sprinkle the shredded cheese over the cornbread batter.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cornbread is golden brown and cooked through.
Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
