Cowboy Butter Compound Roll

Prepare the Butter: In a medium-sized bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, lemon zest, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and red pepper flakes.

Mix Well: Using a spatula or fork, thoroughly mix all the ingredients together until fully combined. The garlic, mustard, and lemon zest will infuse the butter with fresh, bold flavors.

Shape the Butter: Place the mixture onto a sheet of wax or parchment paper. Roll the butter into a log shape and twist the ends of the paper to seal it.

Chill: Refrigerate the rolled butter for at least 1 hour, or until it firms up. If you’re in a hurry, you can freeze it for about 15-20 minutes to speed up the process.

Serve: Slice the butter into rounds when ready to serve. Place a slice on top of a freshly grilled steak, warm vegetables, or even a piece of bread.
