Cool Whip Cookies: Soft, Light, and Irresistibly Delicious

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
Step 2: Mix the Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, Cool Whip, and egg.
Stir until everything is well combined into a soft dough. The dough will be a little sticky, but that’s okay!
Step 3: Form the Cookies

Using a spoon or your hands, form tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and roll them into balls.
Roll each ball of dough in powdered sugar until fully coated. This gives the cookies their signature crackly look.
Step 4: Bake the Cookies

Place the sugar-coated dough balls on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are slightly golden. The cookies will puff up and then flatten as they cool.
Step 5: Cool and Serve

Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
